Hey friend,
As the year comes to an end, I wanted to send you a quick note.
This year has been intense, challenging, and very rewarding, with multiple conferences, trainings, and travel around the world, plus a few changes along the way.
I am happy to share that I won the SANS Difference Makers Award for Innovation of the Year this month. Fun fact, this is the third year in a row I was nominated, but the first time I actually won. I guess consistency pays off 😅
I also wrapped up the AI x Sec Advent. For 24 days, I shared concrete ideas, experiments, and security angles around GenAI. If you missed some days, everything is still available and meant to be reused, challenged, and applied.
Looking ahead to 2026, I will be teaching two trainings at Black Hat Asia, focused on GenAI, threat intelligence, and offensive and defensive AI. Same minÒdset as always. Practical. Useful. Grounded in what actually works!
You can already register and take advantage of early bird prices:
Practical GenAI for CTI. A two day, very hands on training where you learn how to build real agentic systems, advanced RAG pipelines, and apply the technology to cyber threat intelligence.

Adversarial AI Red Team and Prompt Hunting. A new one day training focused on AI weaknesses, prompt abuse, and concrete defensive strategies.

Thank you for following, reading, challenging, and supporting my work this year. Your support truly means a lot to me. You may not always realize it, but I work hard to share what I learn with you. My goal is to push the boundaries of our field, and I hope to bring you along.
I wish you an excellent end of the year, and I will see you in 2026 ❤️
Thomas
